Iron Mine is structure from which Iron Ore can be taken. It has a total of 4 uses before collapsing, with a 20% chance to use for every iron ore you collect. This gives an estimated 20 iron before the mine collapses. As it collapses it will give a round stone. A collapsed iron mine does not decay and cannot be rebuilt.

- Several steel tools (which require Iron Ore) are required to craft a stanchion kit, so crafting a mining pick straight away may not be in your best interest. At the least, you will need Smithing Hammer, Axe, Froe, Adze, Chisel, File, Saw, and the mining pick. You may also need a Steel Hoe, and Shovel to support a town which is just starting out. So at least 8-10 Iron Ore should be gathered before an Iron Mine can be attempted.
