Stub Building in One Hour One Life loosely refers to crafting structures, such as roads and buildings. They are indicators of an advanced civilization. == Roads == Stone Roads increase the walking speed of your character, and take over the movement in the direction the road leads. They can be used to set up speedy routes between far away resources and neighboring towns. It is created by placing a Flat Rock on Floor Stakes. Stone Floor and Wooden Floors although not technically 'roads', are commonly used as such. Especially around areas such as farms, where it is inconvenient to skid around trying to stop. They are created by placing Cut Stones or Boards respectively on Floor Stakes. <gallery heights="75px" widths="75px"> File:Wooden Floor.jpg|Wooden Floor File:Stone Floor.jpg|Stone Floor </gallery> == Buildings == Buildings can be made out of Pine, Adobe, Wood or Stone. === In Door Bonus === When a player is in a building with full floors, enclosed walls and closed doors, he will get in door bonus. The game only check 13x13 area with the player at the center, so your building can't be too large, or the game can't detect the walls. To get the bonus, you need to be in the center of a 13x13 room (including walls), or anywhere in a 8x8 room (including walls). It has following bonus: * Hunger decays slower, maximum additional 20s per pip * Biome tempertaure doesn't effect that much * Cloths are double effective === Door === A Door is a structure which can be opened and closed by interacting with it (even when holding items or injured). It is installed using Marking Stakes, and can be removed by using a knife or flint chip. Wooden Doors can be locked using a Lock and Key. Closing a door with a lock will automatically lock it. So try not to get locked in a room without a key. Pine Doors are considered very expensive due to the amount of milkweed required, and are not lockable. A Springy Wooden Door closes automatically, and cannot be locked. According to HETUW Mod, wood doors are 0.2 more effective than snow doors for insulation. <br /> <gallery heights="75px" widths="75px"> File:Pine Door.jpg|Pine Door File:Wooden Door.jpg|Wooden Door File:Locked Wooden Door.jpg|Locked Wooden Door File:Springy Wooden Door.jpg|Springy Wooden Door </gallery> === Wall === A Wall is an impassible structure made to prevent passage of Animals or players, and hold Heat inside of a room. Stone Walls (If they haven't already turned into Ancient Stone Walls), and wet Adobe Walls can be deconstructed by using a Steel Mining Pick. Pine Walls can be deconstructed by using a Steel Axe, which will turn it into Kindling. They are installed using Marking Stakes, and can be removed depending on what material they are made of. Wooden Floors can be removed by using a Steel Adze, and Stone Floors can be removed by using a Steel Mining Pick. According to HETUW Mod, Wood and Stone floors are the best, and are improved by adding bear skin by 0.1. Pine floors are 0.2 less effective than wood or stone. Stone block is 0.3 less effective than wood/stone.
